July was SOOOOO BUSY and so EXCITING!!!

Virginia Family Reunion was GREAT! It took us forever it seemed to get there but we had a special surprise! We got to stop in South Carolina and visit Aunt Alaina and Grayson!!!

Virginia was Beautiful and it was so great to see family we hadn't seen in so long and meet the new additions:)

School is over and let the summer begin!!!
The first weekend of the summer was full of busyness:)
It started off with Irish Dance Recitals and then traveling to Atl for Rose's doctor appt.
The girls did GREAT at the recital and yes Lennon looks a lot like one of those Toddler and Tiara girls, which she loves by the way!! :) lol!

Rose's Emory appt in Atl:
She was offiacially diagnosed with ADHD/Tourettes. We have had a long 3 years of documenting and are finally glad things are figured out. This gives us great opporunities to finally give Rose the support she needs:) She is such an amazing kid and we couldn't be more blessed!!!

We were also busy the start of the summer with our spring/summer garden. So far so good!!

In between the rain and the cold we have been able to have some great times at the farm. The farmers got a new member, a beautiful horse named Penelope! She is so great and will be a great trail horse soon:) The kids love her so much,espeailly Rosie!

This holiday season was filled with so many memories of great family times! On Christmas day Brent had to work at the fire station so Santa dropped off presents there on Christmas Eve and so the girls,Cece, Aunt Amy and I went to the station and spent the whole day. It was soooo GREAT!

We had the most amazing Thanksgiving this year! We will never forget it! Thank you grammy for planning such a great vacation for us all!!!

We went to Chattanooga TN and stayed at the Chattanooga CHOO-CHOO historic hotel.The hotel was amazing with the elves work shop, train museum, great food everywhere and trains, trains and more trains! You felt like you were back in time:) SO COOL!

We had our Thanksgiving dinner abord a river boat that took us down the Tennessee River and after that we went walking and found a great memorail to the Cherokee indians.

On our last night there we went to the North Pole by train! When we made it to the North Pole Santa came abourd to see us all! Santa's elves also tucked the girls into be and read them a bedtime story.

So today Rose had a special musical at school and sang spanish songs. She did great and looked so beautiful!
And Lennon had her Thanksgiving Feast at her school. It was a great time!

Well my grandmother (Nana) has finally gone to meet her maker. I know she is in a great place and I am so blessed to have had time with her through out my life. She taught me a lot and I am greatful for having the chance to have been with family after her death. I had such a great time with my daddy, mom, sister and her sweet family. I am so blessed!
So when I got home the girls and Brent were very happy to see me and Brent is such a great daddy/husband for taking on all the responsibilites while I was gone!
When I got home Rose made a sign that said welcome home and then handed me a note. It is pricless!

Halloween

This Halloween was so fun! The Friday before Lennon had a parade and was a fire fighter and then we joined Rose at her school for a party. Lennon was so proud to be in her big sissy's BIG school class:)
For Halloween night we did our usual and went the CeCe's for trick or treating and dressed up as 1980's rock stars/no cost costumes!

Rose is now in third grade! We just can't believe it!!! She has never been so excited about school, she even said a thank you prayer the night before. Still after a week she is excited and even happy about homework and reading! WE WILL BE REMINDING HER OF THIS FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE!!!! Her teacher this year is Ms. Hurst and she really seems like a sweet lady. Please pray for the rest of the school year to go as good as it is now:)

Last night I packed 2 lunches and told Brent how weird it was and we had a moment.
This morning was Lennon's 1st day of preschool and she is more excited then we are. We are totally HAPPY for her but just sad that we have no more babies. It's pretty cool though to realize we need to step up our game and let go and let GOD! Just pray we can remember that through college and weddings.
On another note, I just picked up Lennon from school and she said she had such a good day and her teachers said she is so sweet and well mannered.

This year we added 1 to the bunch! Welcome Fiona! Grammy now has 6 grandkids, ALL GIRLS!!! We are so blessed to have such a WONDERFUL grammy! She takes all of us girls for a vaca every summer and this year we went to P.C. We did a lot of yummy eat'n, went to Ship Wreck Island Waterpark, went on a pirate cruise (pic above), and spent great time make'n memories at the house in "The Cove"!!!

Rose got here braces today!!! Suprisingly she has been so excited for this day. Thank God! She did amazing while they put them on, when they were done she said,"I didn't even know they put them on!" She says they are weird and hurt alittle tonight but did a great job flossing and brushing. Hope she keeps that up! We are very proud of you Rosie and can't wait to see the end result! We pray it is not to painful and we are thankful we can do this for you:)

We love "the farm" and when we decided not go to the beach with my folks we played house and took care of the farm. It was a lot of work but a ton of fun too. We took the girls with our fav couple "The Kagy's" to the beach this past weekend hopeing for the beautiful beaches we have grown to LOVE. We were so blessed to get there and find that our beach was not affected yet from the oil spill in the Gulf. We are trying really hard to get to the beach as much as possible before they are covered in oil. Lord HELP US!

WOW! I was not prepared for the grass that would take over our garden. We only tilled it once so atleast we have learned for next year. Good thing is we are getting things from the garden. Here are some pics of our pumpkin, little tiny sqaush, tomatoes and beans.

So here is our Rose in the next steps of getting older. She got glasses right before school ended and she looks to cute but alittle older. Next step before school starts is getting braces on July 12th. The one pic of teeth is the before can't wait to see the after. She is so excited about both things, THANK GOD. Glad we are doing this now rather then when she is older and worried about her looks. Although when she comes home and tells me someone made fun of her big ol forehead she tells me that she told them she will pray for them! LOVE IT!!

So the girls had their 1st dance recital June 6th and it was to cute! They took Irish Step dancing this year. Rose is amazing and has a natural talent, Lennon on the other hand enjoyed herself thoroughly in her own little word. Rose was in 3 dances and did great! Lennon did great too and then while waiting for sister she fell asleep on CeCe.

We are enjoying weeding our garden and still waiting to eat from it but we know it will be worth it! We have planted pumpkin, watermelon, cantalope, squash, corn, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, peas, beans, and zuchini. Today Lennon and I spent two hours weeding. She was great and has funny names for things like zuchini. It is zoo candy to her! ha! We also put a natural weed block down today too. Newspaper and pinestraw. It works pretty good and is safe for us all!!! Hope all is well in everyone's world and for anyone in the mood to weed just come on over!

Today was a beautiful day here in Tally. The girls and I went to the farm to spend time with my mama, because Brent is working. It was a great day of pretty much doing nothing!

So, here I am, pooped!

I don't even know where to begin its been so long.

Since January Lennon turned 3, spring is here and got us all feeling green but man are the blooms pretty! and while the girls went to Panama City for Spring Break daddy and I (along with great family and friends) packed up yet again to move back into the "centerville house."

We really couldn't be happier! We all love it here and we actually have made some changes that feel great. New floors, paint and a our very own salon in the back yard!!! LOVE IT!!!!

So yesterday was my 30th birthday and I did a lot of reflecting.

I don't feel old until I realize how old my kids are and what they are doing in life at the moment. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was doing the same they are doing now. It's just weird! HA!
Then I think about what life I have lived and it sure has been a crazy one. I am moving on to this next decade with the mind set of still learning and growing but remembering what struggles I have had and to make an effort to remain in the moment. I am not going to worry so much anymore, I am going to simplify more, workout and take care of me more, love me more, spend more time with my family, read the bible more, and get more involved to spreading HOPE!
Thank you to everyone in my life who has always supported, loved, lifted my up or brought me down cause I really think I would not be in this joyous place right here, right now.

So this past weekend we went to St. Pete to visit my dad, mom, sister and her family. It was a great time!!!
Brent had am interview with TFD last Thurs. and got a call back today for a second interview. This is our long term goal and want this so bad. So please pray for God's grace during this process.
Also, I told my testimony for the 1st time today and it went so good. Thank you Lord for giving me the words to promote HOPE AND FAITH!

Every year in Oct. we go to the beach with Brent's sister and mom. We had a great time playing in the pool, collecting shells and playing at the beach, eating, and resting. It was perfect timing since we just dealt with the surgery, we were in need of this family time together.

Rose is doing so great in school! She had her first WUR test, which is a writing test to prepare for FCAT. She got a 4 out of 6, that GREAT!!!! She has also gotten all 100's on her spelling test. We are so proud of her and wanted to share what a great student she is.

So Rose's classroom pet is a genie pie (yet again, I can't spell) she is super cute. Her name in Blaze and she got to come home with Rose last weekend. We had a great time having her, but I think Rose is allergic to her, so we will notbe getting one. Oh well:) hehe:)

Surgery update

So I am really praying that we can come home tomorrow. We are getting a little stir-crazy:) We are out of the hospital and in a hotel, so it's nice to be out of the hospital, but it's not our comfy home.
Surgery:

The team of doctors I had were great. Thank you God for such great people.
They removed all the mesh and are pretty sure they got it all. Dr.Kovac said, "Know wonder she was in so much pain, the mesh and turned into something like concrete." That sounds great, huh? :( But it's gone and that's what matters.
On a crappy note the mesh implant that was put in my urethra by the doctor in Thomasville actually caused damage to my urethra and it has holes in it. They doc's here repaired it and I have to wear a Foley (yeehaw) till next week.

We are not sure at the moment what the out come of where my bladder will end up, but this is where we have to start. There could be a chance that it will just chill out where it is, so lets just continue to pray for that.

The girls woke up last Monday to a big chocolate cake for breakfast and were super excited for school.
Rose started a new school called Desoto Trail and Lennon is homeschooling with me 3 days a week.
Since we had been telling Lennon that she was going to be going to school too she kinda took away Rose's fire. Poor thing:)
As you can see from the pictures Rose is not to happy. Also look how thrilled Lennon is, all smiles with her pack-pack on and all.
We are on the 2nd week and Rose had adjusted so good and loves the school, friends and teacher. Her teacher, Mrs. Nash expressed that she is talkative and really enjoys helping. They are learning about Dinisora's and she is still reading so well.
Lennon is to cute in her school with mommy. Last week we learned about nature, the letter A and the #1. She did a lot of coloring, took walks to find neat things in nature and also took a field trip to a friends who lives in a huge plantation.

This year for the holiday we were going to go down to Ft. Myers to see my family. Well, things changed in a big way. I lost my job and am now staying home with the girls and be traditional for once in my life. HA! We are so loving life! It's like it was always supposed to be this way. Thank you Lord for your glory! Remember family and friends he does provide:)
Anyways, Brent, Lennon and I stayed in Tally and Rose went to P.C. with Grammy and Grandaddy. She had a blast but we sure did miss her. Here are some pics of our 4th at Cece's house. We have it made because she lives right by Tom Brown Park, which is were the fire works are. We can even hear the concert. I do have to say that all the rednecks in the neighborhood that went to get ellegal fireworks are so much more exciting than the park ones. And we can come and go as we please, go to the bathroom and not use a porta-potty and we had a/c.

So when us adults have off on Saturday's we like to go to the farmers market. It is a great way to support local farmers and by the way the produce is so good! It is also a great wasy to save some cash. This cucumber was only .60cents. I can buy all the produce we need for the week for $8-$12 and @ publix I spend over $20!!! WOW, is right!!!

Our new house!!!!

So we have been given a wonderful opportunity to have a 1 year sleep over to see if this is the house for us. And so far it is.
We are doing a lease with option to buy. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a huge yard, that we LOVE, and small garage. The house is about 1300 sq. ft. which is just right for us.
Thanks for all the prayers, we are so blessed!

Girly updates

So the girls are growing so much here are some great recent stories.
Rose got 10 E's out of 12 on her report card. GO ROSE!!! She also wrote a great little story too.
The best day ever in my life. First, I was going to the farm on Sunday with my sister. Next, I was bored so I went to the horse pen to rise on Smokey Joe and she ran and we fed her. Last, I was playing on the sand pile and was watching the chickens. This was the best day ever in my life.
How cute is that.:)
Rose has also been staying on green at school, which is a huge deal. Almost 3 weeks straight!!!!!
Lennon...
We went to dinner the other night and I was drawing shapes on her paper while we waited for our food. I drew a circle, triangle, square, and rectangle as I drew them I asked her what they were and she knew all of them.
WOW, what awesome, smart kids we have!!!!

Poison Dart Frogs

Rose had here very 1st research project this past month. She had been learning about the Rain Forest and she choose the poison dart frog to research. She had such a great time. We went to the public liberary and it was to funny, we had to ask for help because it had been such a long time since mommy had been and forgot what to do. Ooopps:)

So I was putting up laundry and when I came back to the living room she was gone. I went looking and found her in the dining room in the corner with the lights off eating cookies.

WOW!!! Thats all I have to say. We are soooo tired with this whole moving thing, but we are in our new home. It feels great, the girls are sleeping good and of course loving the yard and back porch. We still have sooooo much to do,but are getting there. When I have some more free time I will take some pictures and get them on here. Hope all is well in everyone's world. Much Love!!

Lennon's 2nd B-day

Lennon's Birthday was great but very windy and cold. We all hung around eating snacks and then it was time for cake. Lennon tried really hard to blow out her candles, it was to cute. When it came to opening the presents she would take piece by piece of paper off.(to funny) Mommy helped a lot. She loved all the gifts and so do the parents. Thanks for all the gifts!!!! So, the party was to show support for her giving up her nukkies. We got a little bag with a horse that the nukkies would go in. She got to have the little horse and then we talked her through putting the nukkies in the bag for the babies. After all the nukkies were in the bag we gave the bag to Danielle (amy's best friend) to give to the babies that need them. She did great!
Last night...
Lennon's 1st night without her nukkies was not that bad. THANK GOD!!! We are so proud of her. It took her about an hour and a half to get to sleep and then only woke up once. Yippee!!!
Nap time 2day...
Was a little rocky at 1st but then after an hour there was no more noise, so I am assuming she is good.
Thanks to all of our wonderful family and friends that were able to come and celebrate with us. And to those who live away, sick, etc. thank you for your love and support.

Adventure's N Potty Training

We got Lennon a new movie called Elmo Potty Time and she loves it. Well when we got home the day we got the movie the 1st thing Lennon wanted to do is watch it. The next thing I new Rose had taken off her clothes and got her potty out of Lennon's room and put it in front of the TV. Potty training is so on Lennon's terms, cause we are trying to focus more on the nuk going bye-bye before her second bday in less then a month. BOO-HOO!!!!!!!! She's not a baby anymore!!!!! :(

Well things have been pretty busy with us lately. Rose made 9 E's out of 12 on her report card. YEEHAW!!!! She's doing great in school and loves to write stories and read. Lennon is a mess, from decoration the dog with stickers (pictures coming soon) to wanting to be big like her sissy there is just never a dull moment. Brent is like always working hard. He's great, he did a lot of honey do stuff for my bday, which was awsome!!! And as for me, more surgery. Yes, can you believe it!? I won't have to stay in the hospital this time, Thank God! But this time without to much detail, they need to remove and fix alittle. Suprisingly, I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything will be fine, we have FAITH! Please lift us up in prayer through the next month, really so we don't lose our minds. Thank you and hope all is well in everyone's world.

Thank God '08 is over and hopefully '09 brings better days. The 3 surgeries this year have been hard, especailly with the economy, but like my mama has said there is HOPE!!! So, lets raise a glass 2 that and vow 2 remember there is HOPE! We pray that everyone has an amazing year and whatever is negitive about last year, well leave it there!!!

Most importantly Happy Birthday 2 Jesus, but the kids had a fun day filled with 3 different houses. WOW, were we busy. Rose loves her Ipod, she rarely puts it down and Lennon's legs will hopefully grow alittle longer soon so she can play on her tri-cycle. Mommy and Daddy got things we needed. Thanks again for all the wonderful things!

Last night we all met CeCe and Aunt Amy at the park to see all the beautiful Christmas lights. Rose loved them and just wanted to run around and Lennon was saying OOHHH!!! everytime she turned around. It was GREAT! Hope everyone's Holiday's are going good so far.
