Panama City Beach Florida

We took the girls with our fav couple "The Kagy's" to the beach this past weekend hopeing for the beautiful beaches we have grown to LOVE. We were so blessed to get there and find that our beach was not affected yet from the oil spill in the Gulf. We are trying really hard to get to the beach as much as possible before they are covered in oil. Lord HELP US!

The garden of GRASSSSSSSSSSSSSS

WOW! I was not prepared for the grass that would take over our garden. We only tilled it once so atleast we have learned for next year. Good thing is we are getting things from the garden. Here are some pics of our pumpkin, little tiny sqaush, tomatoes and beans.
a yummy tip for beans:
green beans in a pot covered with water
one can of french onion soup
salt and pepper
simmer for how ever long you want!
IT IS SUPER GOOD!

Rosie NEWS

So here is our Rose in the next steps of getting older. She got glasses right before school ended and she looks to cute but alittle older. Next step before school starts is getting braces on July 12th. The one pic of teeth is the before can't wait to see the after. She is so excited about both things, THANK GOD. Glad we are doing this now rather then when she is older and worried about her looks. Although when she comes home and tells me someone made fun of her big ol forehead she tells me that she told them she will pray for them! LOVE IT!!

DANCE!!!

So the girls had their 1st dance recital June 6th and it was to cute! They took Irish Step dancing this year. Rose is amazing and has a natural talent, Lennon on the other hand enjoyed herself thoroughly in her own little word. Rose was in 3 dances and did great! Lennon did great too and then while waiting for sister she fell asleep on CeCe.
One day I will try and see if I can upload the video:)

The Holland garden!

We are enjoying weeding our garden and still waiting to eat from it but we know it will be worth it! We have planted pumpkin, watermelon, cantalope, squash, corn, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, peas, beans, and zuchini. Today Lennon and I spent two hours weeding. She was great and has funny names for things like zuchini. It is zoo candy to her! ha! We also put a natural weed block down today too. Newspaper and pinestraw. It works pretty good and is safe for us all!!! Hope all is well in everyone's world and for anyone in the mood to weed just come on over!

Mother;s Day

Today was a beautiful day here in Tally. The girls and I went to the farm to spend time with my mama, because Brent is working. It was a great day of pretty much doing nothing!
As I am sitting in my quite house tonight thinking about being a mother I can't get Reba Mcentire's song "I'll keep on loving you" out of my head. It's a great song and makes me think of my mom and being a mom myself. I thought I would share.

These lyrics mean so much to me because all that I put my mama through she still keeps lovin me! Thank you so much Mama, Donette (mom), Christi(mom) and any other mom out there that loves me and has helped me become a mother.
And thank you Lord for blessing me with ALL the mother's in my life and blessing me with my two wonderful girls and getting the chance to be a mother. Hopefully I can be as good as a mother that the mother's in my life have been to me.
