LOVE'N IT!

Look close, Lennon is in mid-air. She has no fear.

We have another artist on our hands!

Like her sister and all the other creative family members Lennon has an eye for art. She had lots of fun making this picture. This was her very 1st picture. OH, Lennon has also learned to say her name. She says it, Nennon. To cute!!!

Say Chuck-E-Cheese

Rose is in camp at church this summer and of course she's having a blast. I wanted to share this picture because it is so random that such a pretty picture could come from a chuck-e-cheese machine. It looks like an old-timey pic. Crazy, huh?

Stepping stones

So for about a month now I have been working with Lennon on how to use a fork. Well it has been very interesting and dangerous at times. The fork was more of a weapon, but then the other night at dinner she pick the fork right up and went to time. YEEPPEE!

Rose finally loses her tooth!!

Finally, Rose lost her 1st tooth on Wednesday night!!! The tooth was just hanging there because the big tooth is half way grown in. So I told her if she got it out I would take her to get ice cream. Yes, I bribed her. Well daddy got her kind of scared, you know how dad's can be. He would joke and say he was gonna go get his pliers. So Rose was very hesitant until I got the idea to put baby oral-jel to numb the area. Then after the jel we tied a string to the door and the other end to her tooth. She wanted daddy to go sit down away from her (to funny) and then told me that she wanted to close the door. Well, we were waiting and waiting and I just couldn't take it any more so, I slamed the door and out it popped. It was hularious because Rose had no clue that the tooth was even out. I started yelling you did it, you did it!!! And kissed and hugged her, told daddy to get over there and then she finally got really exccited and hugged us with the biggest smile ever. She washed her mouth out and then her and I went to get ice cream.

Rose is trying to catch some fish.

Silly Lennon enjoying the boat ride. She loves life, its so great!

Vacation

So last week we went on vacation to Panama City with family and had a great time. Thursday, Brent and I took Rose to Shipwreck Island. We had a blast! She's still a little to short for some rides, but oh well. Thursday was our 2nd anniversary so that night we went to Capt. Anderson's for dinner, while my parents watched the kids. Dinner was fabolous of course! Friday, was the 4th, so we went downtown to see the festivities. Later that night we drove down to the bay and watched fireworks. Lennon was very sleepy, so hopefully she will enjoy them better next year. Saturday, was our trip to Shell Island on the boat. The Island is diffenantly not what it was before the hurricanes, it's kind of wierd. But any-who, we swam to shore with the kids and played in the sand, came back for some lunch and then went back to the house. That evening we went to the Treasure Ship for another great diner with my grandparents and parents. After that we had to race to Gulf World to see Elvis. We were all running late anyways, but you know beach traffic, it was bumper to bumper. Lennon, Brent and I were in one car and everyone else was in the other. Well, we got about half a mile from Gulf World and a 19 year old girl rear ended us. Yeah?! It didn't do that much damage, but we had to call and atleast get a police report. To bad both Brent and I forgot our cell phones, I know CRAZY! And of course the kids in the car who hit us didn't have one either, so I walked down to the gas station and called. Finally the cop got there and did his thing. While we were waiting we were hang'n out in the car with it running and play'n with Lennon, then the cop was done and so we shut the doors and went to talk to him. We got done and walked back to the car so we can atleast make some of the Elvis show when I went to open the door and it was lock, and yes, it was locked on all doors. Another YEAH!? The cop stays with us for over and hour waiting for the locksmith, who thankfully didn't charge us to come. And then to top it off as he was getting the car unlocked it started to rain, honestly at this point what else can you do but laugh. We never got to see Elvis, just heard he was great from Rose, but did get to know officer Don and his wife very well for 2 hours. Sunday was obviously our chill day and then Monday we were home by noon. Thank you Jesus for a great, SAFE and adventurous trip. Hope everyone's summer is going well.Pictures of our trip will be coming soon I messed up and didn't upload them correctly. Sorry.
